Delete Your Account — The Perfect Pour

This page works whether or not you have the app installed — you don’t need to sign in anywhere to request deletion.

How to delete your account

In the app (fastest): open Settings → Delete Account, confirm, and your account and its data are deleted immediately.

Without the app: email theperfectpourapp@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject line “Delete my account.” We’ll verify the request and delete your account and cloud data — no need to install anything.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove:

• Your account and sign-in information (email address)
• Your Rickhouse — your bottle collection and its data
• Your logged tastings, pours, and Palate Print
• Your Trail check-ins and saved trip plans
• Any bottle photos you captured
• Handshakes, Tasting Circle content, and other activity tied to your account

Timeline

Your data is purged from our active systems within 30 days of a verified request. Some data may persist in encrypted backups for an additional 90 days, after which it is gone. This matches the retention terms in our Privacy Policy.

What we keep, and for how long

We may retain a limited record of the deletion request itself, and any information we’re required to keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes, for up to 90 days. Aggregated or de-identified data that can no longer be linked to you may be retained.
